WE ARE LOSING OUR GREATEST RESOURCE RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES.
There is one natural resource that we will completely and forever run out of in the next ten to twenty years. One resource that can never have a substitute. There is no replacement for the loss of our Greatest Generation.
67 years-ago this December the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and forced the United States to enter WWII. Think of the men and women that found themselves peacefully enjoying their life in the Armed Services - sometimes not, if you were still a recruit. Most were 18-25 years old. We must realize that this now makes the majority of our WWII Veterans in their Eighties and Nineties
Is it any wonder that we are losing more than a thousand of the Greatest Generation, daily?
History has been lost to the ages, never be heard again because we are letting it go to the grave; untold, un-recorded, unwritten, and most sadly, unwanted.
So I ask you, if you know a Veteran from WWII or any other conflict, ask them to talk about their experiences and if at all possible record the stories on tape or disc so that it may be preserved. Then take it to your local historical society or send it to the National Archive. Anything to make sure it is preserved.
Please Help Preserve Our History Now.
